3. ONLINE GIVING, DONATIONS, AND PAYMENTS

  1. Donations: Tithes, offerings, and donations made to Abide Shire Church are voluntary gifts used to support the operational, ministry, and charitable work of the church.

  2. Refund Policy:

    • General Donations: As donations are voluntary charitable contributions, they are generally non-refundable. If an error occurs in the amount processed (e.g., duplicate processing or typo in amount), please contact info@abideshirechurch.com.au within 14 days to request a correction or refund.

    • Event Registrations & Tickets: Refund policies for paid events (camps, conferences, dinners) will be specified on the event registration page. Generally, refunds for cancellations made prior to a specified cut-off date will be honored, less any non-refundable administration fees.

  3. Payment Processing: All online payments and donations are processed via secure third-party payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, Tithe.ly, or direct bank transfer). We do not store credit card or debit card numbers on our servers.

 

4. EVENT REGISTRATION & CHILD PROTECTION

  1. Accuracy of Information: When registering for events, you agree to provide complete and accurate information, particularly regarding contact details, emergency contacts, dietary requirements, and medical conditions.

  2. Child Safety: We take the safety of children and vulnerable adults seriously. For events involving minors (under 18):

    • Parent/guardian consent is mandatory for attendance.

    • All leaders and volunteers comply with NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) regulations and church child protection policies.

  3. Event Cancellations: We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances, severe weather, or safety concerns. In the event of a cancellation of a paid event, registration fees will be refunded or credited where applicable.

5. CODE OF CONDUCT & ONLINE COMMUNITY

When engaging on our website, social media pages, live-stream chats, or online community spaces, you agree not to post or transmit any material that is:
